The accomplishments of Amanda Cope speak for themselves.

The Winder-Barrow High School cross country and track standout has already established a lasting legacy and she’s not done yet. Cope, who recently earned two more medals at the Class AAAA state track meet in Albany, draws multitudes of praise from her coaches and those who see her compete first-hand. [Full Story »] 

The Winder-Barrow High School track teams are pressing on despite the fact they are missing some key people, some until the Region 8-AAAA meet.

Skyler Lowe is out for the Bulldoggs as he recovers from an ankle injury and Whitley Kennedy is being held out until region as well. [Full Story »] 

John Siggers closed out his track career in style while Skyler Lowe and Tim Simonton were already looking forward to making it back to Jefferson in 2011.

It was a big day for the Winder-Barrow High School track teams Saturday.

The WBHS boys won the Monroe Area High School-Bonnie Mattox Invitational while the Lady Bulldoggs tied for first. The Bulldoggs scored 115 team points to outdistance second-place Clarke Central, who finished with 103. [Full Story »] 

For Cook Holliday, it’s always been about the student-athletes he has been able to work with.

During the recent Georgia High School Association boys state track meet in Jefferson, Holliday once again stressed that point.
