Live and tape-delayed doubleheader high school football returns to the local radio airwaves, beginning with Friday’s Winder-Barrow-Jefferson and Apalachee-Woodland doubleheader.
AM1300 WJBB will send broadcast crews to every regular season and playoff game this season, according to station owner Jeff Batten.
“I’ve been eyeballing Aug. 29 since I bought the station in March,” Batten said. “There’s nothing, and I mean nothing, that energizes a local radio station more than high school football.”
