On Monday, LeBron James scored a career-high 61 points in a Heat victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. LBJ’s career high was also a franchise record for the Miami Heat. After Monday’s victory the Heat had won eight straight games. They have also gone 12-1 in their last 13 games.
This is in large part due to the great success that James has had in that time span, which was showcased with his dominating performance on Monday.
It was just a month or so ago when it seemed like everyone had casted the King out of the race to win his fifth NBA MVP award. And in that time it was a fair call as Kevin Durant was having a beautiful run in what has been his best season thus far.
