Several Bethlehem Christian Academy football players finished the 2015 season with impressive stats as the Knights competed in Region 1-AAA of the GISA.
Senior quarterback Jacob Parker threw for 1,293 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also had two rushing touchdowns.
Brady Stewart was the team’s top receiver with 608 yards on 44 catches with six touchdowns. Austin Bennett had 20 catches for 242 yards and four scores.
Chris Ratterree rushed for a team-high 742 yards and seven touchdowns on 162 carries. He also had one receiving touchdown.
Joey Parrillia had 471 yards rushing on 59 carries with three scores. He also hauled in one receiving score.
As a team, the Knights averaged just over 22 points per game during the 2015 season.
Defensively, two of the standouts for the Knights were Matthew Kamm and Brad Toxen, coordinator Chad Kamm said.
BCA could see some new opponents in 2016, both region and non-region, depending on how the Georgia Independent Schools Association figures classifications and regions.
“It certainly could end up being very interesting,” BCA head coach Lance Fendley said.
