Madison Co. drivers fight to fantastic finish at Lavonia

Two of Madison County’s finest drivers Stanley Hill, Ila, and Robin Collins, Colbert, had the most exciting race of the weekend in the Hobby class at Lavonia Speedway.
These two veterans brought fans to their feet cheering, as they rubbed fenders coming off turn four to take the checkered flag. Hill managed to retain his slight lead over Collins as he crossed the finish line. [Full Story »]

Weightlifters heading to Virginia
Area weightlifters have a history of success and are looking to continue at the 2008 American Powerlifting Committee National Championships in Norfolk, Virginia, June 6 through June 8.
