When tragedy strikes, sports take a backseat to more somber matters.

But eventually, the games are played again. And with two more soccer game lefts, Madison County’s girls’ soccer team has dedicated its play to “Bringing it for Tyler.”

MCMS eighth grader Tyler Moon died last week in a lawnmower accident. And Madison County has seen an outpouring of grief over the loss.

“We dedicated the rest of our season to Tyler Moon and with this mentality, the girls have something other than themselves and their team to play for!” said Lady Raider coach Molly McCarty.
