Banks County’s Lady Leopards are confident that the number three seed for the region tournament is in the bag.
While Banks still has a chance for the second seed, assistant coach Andy Brown thinks the odds are the ladies will take third.
What this means for this week is that the Lady Leopards need to get through the final regular season game against East Jackson in the best health possible and end strong before the region tournament.
Earlier in the season, Banks defeated East Jackson and locked in the third seed. Friday, Banks faces East Jackson again to end the regular season. The Friday the 13th game is also senior night for the Lady Leopards. Senior ladies are Jessica Grisham, Lacey Saxon, Lauren Kennedy, Lauren Gibbs and Samm Kennedy. A ceremony honoring the seniors is scheduled between the girls and boys game.
Tip-off for the Lady Leopards is at 7 p.m.
