The Commerce High School boys’ tennis team didn’t need all five matches to claim the Area 4-A crown, it only needed three.

The Tigers cruised past Lincoln County in the Area 4-A finals, 3-0, on Friday. No 1 and 2 singles players Dalton Flint and Cade Ridley, won their matches in straight sets. The No. 1 doubles tandem of Ethan Leffew and Trevor Young needed to win a second-set tiebreaker to survive to the third set. Once in the third set, the duo took control of the match and clinched the third and final point for the Tigers.
