AHS teams to host opening games

The Apalachee High School basketball teams will host opening-round Region 8-AAAA tournament games Tuesday,

The Lady Wildcats will meet county rival Winder-Barrow at 7:00 p.m. while the AHS boys will face Habersham Central at 8:30 p.m.

The WBHS Lady Bulldoggs took both games from the Lady Wildcats during the regular season while the AHS boys defeated Habersham in both meetings.

After Tuesday, all region tournament games will move to Winder-Barrow High School.
