Mill Creek High School rising junior Kevin Lee finished fourth at the American Junior Golf Association's Medicus Junior All-Star tournament held in Oakwood, Ohio June 9 - 12.
The tournament field consisted of 97 players from 22 states and Canada. The course was played as a par-71.
Round-one leader, Patrick Grahek of Alpharetta, Ga., took home the boys’ division title Thursday, carding a 1-over-par 143 tournament total.
Rounding out the top five in the boys division were Nicholas Scott of Union, Ohio, and Robert Register of Burlington, N.C. Scott and Register tied for second place with 3-over-par 145s. Kevin Lee of Dacula, Ga., finished three strokes off the lead with a 4-over-par 146.
In a six-way tie for fifth, Denny McCarthy of Burtonsville, Md., Motin Yeung of Orlando, Fla., Grant Weaver of Wooster, Ohio, Boo Timko of Girard, Ohio, Jake Mondy of Blacksburg, Va., and Brandon Hartranft of Lancaster, Pa., finished with matching 147 tournament totals.
