The East Jackson Eagles are hoping to enter the Christmas break on a high note. On Tuesday, they were scheduled to travel to Philips Arena in Atlanta to face the North Hall Trojans prior to an Atlanta Hawks game.
“I think the kids have been looking forward to this game more than anything else this year,” said coach Brian Turner. “Just the opportunity to play at Philips Arena is an experience that they will never forget even after they leave high school.”
It will be the first time the two teams will have the opportunity to face each other. East Jackson entered the game 1-0 in their region, and 3-4 overall, while North Hall had yet to play a region game, and was 5-3 overall.
