Mat Eagles take third In Raider Rumble

It was another strong showing for the Mat Eagles of East Jackson, as they placed third in the Raider Rumble at West Laurens High School in Dublin over the weekend.

East Jackson finished with 267.5 points, just half a point behind second place Dublin, and seven points behind first place Toombs County.

Individually, Charles Hulett placed second in the 112 lb. category; Shane Moore placed second in the 130 lb. category; Luis Verduzco placed second in the 152 lb. category; Robbie King placed second in the 171 lb. class; Victor Equirte placed third in the 103 lb. category; Justin Griffith placed third in the 119 lb. category; Kevin Kesler placed third in the 135 lb. class; Michael Nally placed third in the 140 lb. category; and Scott Hill placed fourth in the 189 lb. class.

The Mat Eagles now prepare to travel to Fannin County for a Dual tournament on Saturday.
