Lady Eagles fall to Grayson at home

From there, Grayson continued to move out front, leading 65-37 by the end of the third quarter. The Lady Eagles held Grayson to only nine points in the fourth, but suffered the loss of sophomore Dynelle Todman to an ankle injury in the process.

X-rays later showed nothing broken in Todman’s ankle, but she may miss a couple of weeks on the court as a result of the injury.

Autumn Wilbanks led the Lady Eagles in scoring with 18 points, while Todman scored nine. Kaitlin Hill led in rebounds with seven, while Caroline Hicks recorded five. Callie Moore led East Jackson in steals with five.

“Grayson was a very good team, but I felt that we played hard and never gave up,” said coach Amy Larimer. “We got the opportunity to see areas of improvement, which we will focus on in preparation for games down the road.”
