Last season the Atlanta Falcons finished their season with a disappointing 4-12 record after an incredible 13-3 season the year before. Atlanta was anticipating competing for a Super Bowl, but instead found themselves picking in the top ten of the NFL Draft.
One of the biggest storylines last season was the return of future Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez. Gonzalez pushed off retirement for one more season to return with the Falcons and attempt to win a Super Bowl, something that he had never done. But unfortunately we all know how it ended, the Falcons finished with a 4-12 record and the future Hall of Famer retired without a Super Bowl ring.
Now the Falcons were left with a big question, who would take the spot of Tony Gonzalez and aid Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense? On first glance it might seem obvious, the next tight end in the lineup, 23-year old Levine Toilolo. The youngster certainly has the size, at 6-8 and 265 pounds, but is he going to fill the void?
