The weather cooperated for Apalachee High School and Morgan County High School Friday night as the two teams continued their preparations for the upcoming season.
While officially the host Bulldogs took a 7-0 advantage when the varsity teams were on the field, AHS coach Shane Davis was pleased with many aspects of his team’s effort.
“We played extremely hard and with passion and intensity,” said Davis, who is entering his 10th year with the Wildcats. “That’s what we wanted to see. That’s what our kids needed to do and they did it.”
