The Bethlehem Christian Academy football players have received about as much practice time as a squad could have in recent days.
The Knights held their on-campus camp and then traveled to Toccoa for more football work and team bonding. All in all, it was a lot to digest and even coach Lance Fendley said as much.
“We’ve been on a tough stretch,” Fendley said. “From July 28 until Aug. 5, we had two practices. That’s a lot of football. The kids responded, however. We were very physical during those days. We were blessed with some cooler weather during our camp here. It was hotter when we went to Toccoa.”
