There is something so beautiful about a homecoming. Undoubtedly, the world will be watching when NBA star LeBron James makes his first appearance back in Cleveland as a member of the Cavaliers. James left his hometown four years ago for “greener pastures” in Miami but is returning home this season.
In many ways it seems foolish for LeBron to leave Miami where he has seen much success in his four years — winning the Eastern Conference Championship all four years and also winning two NBA Titles. But depending on how you look at it, LeBron’s move can make a lot of sense.
First of all, let’s remember who we are talking about here. Truly the best basketball player in the world and easily one of the top two or three sports figures on the entire planet, at the end of the day James will do what he wants to do and (I suppose) that is good enough.
