Three Panthers named to All Region team

Three Jackson County football players have been named to the 2008 Region 8-AAA All Region team.

Offensive lineman Ben Brown, defensive end Ryan Howe and cornerback Charlie Waycaster were named on Monday to the team.

Eastside High School’s Justin Wray was named the player of the year for region 8-AAA, while Stephens County coach Travis Noland was named coach of the year for the region.
