Well the NFL Draft is complete with its fair share of excitement. It was viewed by millions over the course of several days and had plenty of heart-warming and historic moments. Most notably would have to be the selection of Michael Sam by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round. Sam, easily the most famous 249th pick in any NFL draft, is the first openly gay player in the NFL.
But as much of a story as that was let’s not forget the biggest story from this year’s draft. Let’s be real here, it has to be Johnny Manziel. Everyone was dying to see where Johnny Football was going to end up. And as the first round continued to run we all began to wonder when he was going to be selected and, more importantly, what team would make that decision.
Enter the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have been searching for a quarterback for decades now and are without a doubt desperate. They passed on Manziel earlier in the first round with their initial pick, it looked like they might take him, but they chose instead to go with defensive back Justin Gilbert.
