The Bethlehem Christian Academy and Fullington Academy baseball teams will have to wait a little longer to get their GISA Class A quarterfinal series started.
Heavy rain which moved into the area Wednesday night and into Thursday morning made the field unplayable Thursday, when the series was originally scheduled to begin. BCA athletic director Mark Barth actually announced Wednesday afternoon the series had been delayed.
BCA is the No. 1 seed from Region 1-A while Fullington is the No. 2 seed from 3-A. A doubleheader will begin Saturday at 1 p.m. with a third game, if necessary, Monday at 4:30, also at BCA.
