Jackson County's Patrick Overstreet hit a grand slam in the seventh against Elbert County as the Panthers scored six runs in the final inning in a 10-3 road win over the Blue Devils Wednesday.
Overstreet went 2-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored. Others with big offensive nights were Joel Ellis (2-for-4 with two RBIs), Ben Brissey (1-for-3, RBI), Jacob Banks (1-for-4, RBI, two runs) and Nick Corso (1-for-3, two runs).
The Panthers scored three runs in the first inning and another in the second inning before putting up a six spot in the seventh.
Andrew Fogarty (3-1) pitched four innings for the victory, giving up three runs and seven hits while striking out five. Jeremy Cook worked the final three innings for the save. He surrendered one hit and struck out five.
