It’s so far, so good for the Apalachee High School baseball team.
The Wildcats (1-0) defeated Central Gwinnett 13-1 Friday on the road to usher in the 2014 season. Tyler Starnes was the winning pitcher working three innings before Cody Glausier sealed the win in the final two frames.
“Defensively, we made all the plays,” said coach Mike Cavey. “Our pitchers limited their walks and kept their pitch count down.”
