The Panthers were hoping a strong showing at Elbert County the previous week would carry over to Friday night's game against Oconee County.
While Jackson County put up a valiant effort, the result wasn't as close as they had hoped, as Warriors won 44-17.
That leaves the Panthers continuing to search for their first region win of the year. They're last shot will come Friday night in their regular season finale, as they play host to 5-1 Stephens County.

Once again, I would like to thank the selfish young man [you know who you are] who chose for the second time this season to put himself above the team. I cant wait to see him wreck the basketball team next. Coaches, please for integrity sake, get him in check or get him out of athletics...dont we have am Athletic Director?
