The Apalachee High School boys basketball team rolled through the competition in the East Jackson High School Swirlee's Fro-Yo Classic defeating North Oconee 94-62 in the championship game Monday.
AHS, who is now 11-1 overall, had four players in double figures including tournament MVP Kamar Baldwin with 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Joey German added 15 points (all from 3-point range). Alantae Billings also chipped in 15 points while Petr Mitrik finished with 10 points.
Kent Knowles contributed the balanced offensive attack with eight points, eight assists and five steals.
AHS defeated Franklin County 81-42 and Chestatee 103-76 in other tournament games.
The Wildcats return to action Friday when they host Salem at 8:30 p.m. in Region 8-AAAAA action.
