The Bethlehem Christian Academy football program completed its second full season of varsity play Friday night and while the Knights did not qualify for the postseason this fall, coach Lance Fendley likes the progression shown.
BCA, which finished 4-6 overall in 2013, fell to GISA Class A power Thomas Jefferson 67-26 in the season finales. It was another strong effort for Knight senior Mitchell Kamm, who rushed for 174 yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns. Kamm also had four receptions for 73 yards.
Graham Doolittle also had four catches for 63 yards, while Jeremiah Adams caught four passes for 16 yards. Ben Morgan hauled in six catches for 88 yards with a score.
The team’s offense was not the issue Friday, however. BCA was simply not able to slow down Thomas Jefferson.
