The Winder-Barrow High School football team will travel to Cedar Shoals this Friday and it didn’t take Bulldogg coach David Wagner long to see how strong his team’s opponent will be.
“They are big, fast and strong,” Wagner said. “In the games they have lost, they made some mistakes and shot themselves in the foot. One of their top players had been hurt. Watching them on film, it does seem hard to believe they were winless until last week. However, mistakes can really hurt your chances, especially in this region.”
The Jaguars will likely enter the game with a boost of confidence after defeating Apalachee 35-6 last week in a game where they controlled the momentum from the start.
For WBHS, the Bulldoggs are coming off an 18-0 region loss to Loganville.
