The Wildcats fell to Cedar Shoals Friday 35-6 as it was the Jaguars who posted their first win of the season in battle of 0-6 teams.
Cedar Shoals jumped out to a 21-0 first half lead before AHS scored on the final play of the first half on a 2-yard touchdown pass from Bryan Wilson to Jody Mathis. The extra point attempt failed leaving the score 21-6 at halftime.
The Jaguars (1-6, 1-4) put the game out of reach scoring on their first series of the second half capped on a 4-yard pass from Greg Smith to Cory Johnson.
A 1-yard run by Adrian Washington with 11:40 remaining sealed the deal for Cedar Shoals.
