The Winder-Barrow High School football team will look to rebound this Friday after a one-sided defeat on the road to Gainesville last week.
The Bulldoggs (1-2 overall, 0-1 in Region 8-AAAAA) were overwhelmed by the Red Elephants 68-0 in a game where Gainesville standout quarterback Deshaun Watson put up more big numbers. Watson passed more than 300 yards and four touchdowns in a little more than a half of football. He has now passed for 10,000 career yards and did so on his 18th birthday.
WBHS was held to less than 100 yards of offense as the Bulldoggs struggling in all areas against the defending state champions.
