The Winder-Barrow High School competition cheerleading team made its season debut Saturday with a third place showing at Mill Creek.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the varsity Cheer Doggs from WBHS,” coach Jerrie Hulsey said. “We ended up third after a 20-point deduction for a controversial call by the judges. We scored 255 points.”
A WBHS team has never been that clean in its routine at the first competition, the coach said.
