Commerce High School junior Jenna Thomas is making a name for herself in the realm of fastpitch softball.
The Lady Tiger outfielder recently competed in Scout Softball All-American Games in Nashville, Tenn. Only 48 players from around the nation were invited to the prestigious event. To achieve All-American status, players must advance through regional and national showcases.
Lady Tiger coach Pam Canup touted Thomas as an asset to the Commerce softball team.
“(Thomas) is a great hitter,” Canup said. “We are very proud that she got to represent Commerce on the national stage. We hope that she continues to do well.”
