Winder-Barrow High School’s football team returned to work Monday morning as the start of the 2013 season continues to draw closer into view.
The Bulldoggs were off July 3-7 as part of the Georgia High School Association sanctioned “dead week,” in which no activities of any kind are allowed. WBHS was back in the weight room this week, however, and continuing workouts on the field.
“Our summer program has been going well,” said fourth-year head coach David Wagner. “We’ve gotten to throw a good bit and have done well for the most part.”
The head coach said he has been impressed with how his team has performed in summer passing leagues.
