It took a historic comeback in game 6 and 37 points from LeBron James in game 7, but the Miami Heat captured their second straight title and third all-time this past week.
But before we get into talks about this Heat squad making claims of being a dynasty, I want to highlight on one member of the Miami Heat who flies extremely under the radar.
He isn’t a member of the “Big 3” or even start alongside them. In fact, he doesn’t come off of the bench either. No, this man calls the shots and makes the tough decisions that are crucial to Miami’s success, yet is constantly underrated — this man is Erik Spoelstra. Coach Spoelstra gets a majority of the blame when the Heat lose and nearly none of the credit when they win. It is safe to say that when Miami falls LeBron gets a lot of the blame, but after James Spoelstra probably gets the second-most criticism.
