Undefeated Dragons host Rabun County Friday night

It wasn’t the cakewalk the Jefferson High School football team has experienced in most games this season, but the Dragons emerged from their contest with Banks County with their won-loss record still flawless last Friday as Coach Bill Navas’ team recorded a 34-22 win against the Leopards.

Jefferson returns home this Friday for a 7:30 p.m. contest against 8-AA foe Rabun County. The Wildcats are rebuilding this fall under former Franklin County head coach Danny Durham and enter the contest at 1-6 overall and 1-5 in region play.

Navas and his coaching staff will concentrate this week on keeping the team focused on Rabun County and not looking ahead to the North Oconee game the following week.
