GSC to offer swim lessons

Gainesville State College GSC) is offering summer swimming lessons for children ages 3 and up.

The classes will be held in GSC’s indoor pool. GSC offers swim lessons year-round.

The swimming lessons are based on the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Students will be grouped according to skill level, and experience. The teacher/student ratio of 1:3 ensures individualized attention for each child.

The schedule is as follows:

• Session II: June 16-26

• Session III: July 7-17

All sessions meet eight times Monday thru Thursday. Participants may choose from the following times: 9:00-9:50 a.m., 10-10:50 a.m., 11-11:50 a.m., 12-12:50 p.m., 1-1:50 p.m., and 2-2:50 p.m.

The cost for this camp is $75.
