It’s late March and the first football game of the 2013 season is still months away.
If you think that means a vacation or even down time for football coaches then you’re wrong. Even during March, high school coaches stay busy. Offseasons really don’t exist anymore, for players and coaches.
There are a lot of different things that go on in the offseason,” said Apalachee High School offensive coordinator Joel Miller. “Film review and self scouting from the previous year are some,” he said. “After losing such a large class, this offseason we have spent a lot of time discussing positions for kids in the spring.”
