AHS swimmers qualify for state

The Apalachee High School swimmers have enjoyed a strong level of success in 2012-2013 and will see how they compare to the state’s best this Friday and Saturday at Georgia Tech.

The Lady Wildcat 200 medley team and 200 free relay team of Torrie Heller, Madison Rogan, Skylar Rogan and Jessica Miller are set to compete for coach Laura Rodas.

Skylar Rogan and Madison Rogan are both swimming the 100 fly and the 500 free at the AAAAA state swim meet.

In addition, the AHS 200 free relay boys team of Will Morgan, Joe Allen, Stephen Sassano and Samuel Ransom has qualified for state. Morgan will also compete in the 50 free and 100 free while Ransom will be in the 100 breaststroke.
