It started as a homecoming night with a lot of promise.
The Jackson County Panthers were hoping to stop a current slide, and get their second check mark in the win column for the year.
But, despite holding the Lions scoreless in the first quarter, and staying within seven points going into the third quarter, a call on a fumble went against the Panthers in the fourth quarter.

Panthers travel to Eastside High in Conyers and play this week, Oct 17th. The Panthers travel to Elbert County to play next week on the 24th. Thanks.

Yep, you're right Steve. My apologies, both the schedules I was given when I took this beat over had Oct. 24 down as the next game, and it's even listed that way over at www.gasports.com. Sorry.
