Softball
Oct. 7 - The Jackson County Lady Panthers season ended on Tuesday with back-to-back losses in region tournament play. Their first game came against Hart County, who defeated the Lady Panthers 3-2. Their final game came that evening against Franklin County, who won 10-2.
Volleyball
Oct. 7 - The Lady Panthers of Jackson County ended a long dry spell Tuesday when they defeated Tallulah Falls 2-1, with set scores of 25-17, 21-15 and 25-15. It was the team's second victory of the year.
Oct. 9 - The Lady Panthers were hoping to keep some momentum up from their successful Tuesday outing, but instead found themselves fighting for footing once again. First they lost to Athens Chrsitian 1-2, with sets of 14-25, 25-22 and 15-25. Next they lost 0-2 to region opponent Hart County in sets of 10-25 and 17-25.
Oct. 11 - Jackson County found themselves in an all too familiar position Saturday,as they lost 0-2 to Rockdale County.
