When Texas A&M and Missouri joined the SEC this past offseason everyone laughed and said that they would have a rough time playing in the best conference in college football.
Missouri hasn’t done that well, but Texas A&M has shown the SEC that they are no pushovers and can most certainly play in the division.
And now this week the Aggies are showing just how dumb the BCS system is and how much better a playoff system would be for college football.

I agree wholeheartedly that college football needs a real playoff absent of bias that allows only certain teams from preferred conferences to participate. Actually, the A&M success in the SEC indicates that the SEC is overrated. A&M was seventh in the Big XII in 2011 and lost a quarterback that starts for an NFL team as a rookie. The SEC can have more teams with impressive records because they don't all play each other like the Big XII. Those sophisticated offenses in other conferences are more difficult to defend than SEC lovers want to believe.
