After three regular season meets, Commerce cross country coach Mark Hale says he couldn’t be more pleased with the progress his team has been making.
“We have a strong group of runners who are getting their times down where we are becoming competitive,” said Hale.
Several runners recently ran their personal best times at Riverside Academy, including team front-runner, Jose Gonzalez, who ran a 20:00 flat.
Hale also pointed out that DiKerrio Ramsey, Jake Schramm, Parker Moon and Nick Henderson have been very consistent.
“They are a strong group with Justin Langston and Orlando Gonzalez right behind them,” added Hale. “I look forward to seeing how we compare to the other schools in the Public School Area 4 Meet.”
The Public School Area 4 meet will take place Thursday, Oct. 25, at 2:00 p.m. at Athens Academy and will be the Tigers’ final meet of the year.
