The Commerce Tigers (4-3, 0-3) were unable to get any sort of ground game established in a 30-0 loss to Prince Avenue Christian (6-1, 2-1).
The Wolverines jumped out to an early lead when they scored on the very first possession of the game.
Commerce was able to hold Prince to a field goal on the Wolverines’ next possession, but fumbled on the ensuing kick-off and Prince recovered.
Afterwards, the Wolverines did not let up.
Prince Avenue jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the first half. They scored once more in the third quarter, continuing to hold Commerce to minimal yardage.
The Tigers were only able to gain 64 yards of total offense, while Prince racked up 375.
Commerce will travel to Athens Academy next Friday to face the undefeated Spartans.
