CHS Softball Looking To Postseason Play

The Lady Tigers’ softball team are ready to move into postseason play.

The final season game for Commerce was against region opponent Hebron Christian Academy, Tuesday.

Before facing Hebron, Commerce hosted Banks County and Johnson last week.

Banks County ran away with the game with a 9-1 win over Commerce.

The Lady Tigers were hoping Thursday’s game with Johnson would be different, and it was.

Commerce completely reversed the previous day's score and defeated AAA Johnson 9-1.

Going into the final season game against Hebron on Tuesday, the Lady Tigers played a hard game against their opponents.

Unfortunately for the ladies, Hebron edged out Commerce 1-0.

The Lady Tigers now prepare for the state sectional game in Dalton on October 17.
