Dragons travel to Douglasville for Invite Sat.

After a weekend off, the Jefferson High School cross country team will return to action this weekend, as they travel to Douglasville to take part in the ASICS invitational at Alexander High School.

The Dragons are coming off of showcase performances at Jekyll Island that saw the girls placed third in the varsity race, while the boys continue to see improvement in their performance.

Following this weekend’s meet, Jefferson will take part in the Coach Woods Invitational on Oct. 18 and the Mainstreet News 5K Oct. 21, leading up to the region meet on Nov. 1.
