The new school year has not started at Bethlehem Christian Academy but there was plenty of teaching and learning going on Monday morning.
The Knight football players were on the practice field, working in shorts and helmets for the upcoming 2012 season. This fall will be a major step forward for the BCA program as they will play a complete, 10-game varsity schedule.
“The players have really been working hard in the summer program,” coach Don Garmon said. “There is a high level of excitement for what we are trying to build. It takes a little longer to build a successful football program than in other sports, but we are eager to get going with this.”
