JCCHS roughed up by Morgan County, lose QB Crawford for Hartwell game
With two good showings under their belts, the Jackson County Panthers entered Friday night’s contest with Morgan County hoping to pick up a win in their first region outing of the year. With Morgan County seemingly on a losing streak, having lost all three of their previous games this season, it appeared that the odds fell in Jackson County’s favor.
But it was not to be, as the Panthers fell hard to the Bulldogs 34-6.
More importantly, however, is the loss of starting quarterback Alex Crawford. A hard hit from the Morgan County defense left Crawford dazed and out of the game with a concussion. Crawford will miss this week’s game in Hartwell as a result.
