Coach Jason Austin looks to the future of the Winder-Barrow High School wrestling program and likes what he sees.
“We have a good group coming back,” Austin said Sunday. “They have worked hard this summer.”
Austin will enter his second season guiding the program. Initially stepping in for former coach Chad Horne who took a job overseas, Austin was planning a year-by-year status. However, Austin, a WBHS graduate, said he will continue directing the program for 2012-2013.
“We sent some wrestlers to the East Metro camp at Clarke Central,” Austin said. “We got a lot out of that.”

Coach Horne took a teaching position at a US military installation in Turkey. He left for the position last summer.
