The Leopards began to roar this past week as summer workouts began. Players get a weight room training session starting early in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every week during the summer months.
Then, they headed down to the field house to do circuit training and speed and agility routines. Goals for the defense this season are to use speed, aggressiveness, and deception to take every offense the Leopards face out of their rhythm.
“Our expectation is to be a playoff team every year," said Coach Phillip Jones. “The team will continue to prepare throughout the summer with these workouts and will attend numerous camps at other high schools and colleges.”
