Tony Bowen will be the new interim Softball and Baseball coach for the summer activities. Anyone interested in participating should be at the meeting on Tuesday May 29th at 2:00 in the Baseball complex at Banks County High School

Didn't take long to fill Goodwin spot..Hope the BOE is glad they have started this war. Didn't even give us an answer to Monday's meeting...

Get over it. The same was said when the football coach left. A new coach arrived and took us (in the first year) to the play off games. Quit whinning and get over it... your child will get to play in due time. He's been spoiled by all the gushing 8th grade mom's. you know who you are.

Guess if you had a child worth gushing over...
I mean, why else would you begrudge a mothers support for her child????? Maybe if there were a few more moms like us, this world would have kids that ARE CARED FOR and LOVED! Get over yourself!

Finally the Banks County BOE has made a smart decision!! Now let's get those boys out on the fields for practice so we can show them how it's done BC Style! GO Leopards!

I think Coach Bowen was a good choice, because he will run the practices and games like Coach Goodwin, so these kids can have some consistancy in their lives. I also think he is a great person. As far as doing it "BC style," does that mean playing everyone and not yelling at anyone so you don't lose your job or hurt anyones feelings? Because that seems to be "BC style". And BTW it's not just the boys that were involved here, it was also the girls on the softball team.

He is a great coach and the kids will benefit from his leadership. Good luck next season.
