The Apalachee High School baseball team was in certain need of a victory Monday afternoon.
The Diamond Wildcats delivered as they ventured to Habersham Central and returned home with a 6-0 victory. Ronney Miller pitched a one-hit scoreless outing working all seven innings with six strikeouts and two walks.
“It was a much-needed victory for us,” AHS coach Mike Cavey said. “Ronney was in complete control the whole game and did a great job of staying ahead in the count.”
