This Friday night Jackson County’s football team gets to show what all the hard work in practice can accomplish as the Panthers face Morgan County in the first region game of the season.
The players and coaching staff have prepared for Friday’s game since Jackson County made the move down to AAA. Jackson County goes into the game with a 1-1-1 record after last week’s tie to Prince Avenue.
Morgan County is coming off of an off week and has a 0-3 record.
Jackson County hosts Friday’s game that begins at 7:30 p.m.
For more on the Prince Avenue game, see Wednesday's edition of The Jackson Herald or The Braselton News.

Featuring an opening on-side kick, fake punts by both teams, blocked PAT's, goal-line stands, etc, it was one of the most entertaining 12-12 ties one would hope to witness.
Also, including key stats in the future would be really appreciated. Young Mr. Mills "40 yard rush" to tie the score in the 4th quarter was actually a 65 yard TD pass reception. Gillespie and Waycaster each blocked critical PAT's, etc.
Thanks for covering the young Jackson County Panthers.
